About the Role

This is a fixed-term opportunity spanning 6 months (March to August 2026) for a paternity cover, though permanent contracts can be discussed with interested candidates. The role offers flexibility between full-time and part-time arrangements to suit your circumstances.

You’ll join an exceptional imaging team at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service, providing diagnostic support across multiple clinical specialisms including soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, and Emergency & Critical Care. Your expertise will directly impact the multidisciplinary approach that defines this leading referral practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-standard diagnostic imaging services for patients presenting across the practice’s specialist disciplines
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team of specialists (orthopaedics, neurology, medicine, surgery, ECC and others) to support clinical decision-making
  • Contribute to the imaging team’s workload covering the breadth of small animal cases
  • Maintain clinical excellence and best practice in diagnostic imaging protocols
  • Engage with the practice’s culture of continuous professional development

Requirements

  • ECVDI or ACVR board certification or board-eligible status
  • Qualified veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS
