Abivale is seeking a qualified RVN to join their collaborative team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 24-32 hours per week over 3 or 4 days with 8-hour shifts. This role is ideal for a newly qualified nurse or experienced clinician looking for genuine flexibility. You'll work primarily at the Wallingford and Abingdon sites, with occasional shifts across their other branches in Didcot and Wantage.
The role involves general nursing duties, anaesthesia support, radiology, ultrasonography, and hospital inpatient care. As Abivale is a 24-hour emergency care provider, the practice maintains a dedicated night team, so there is no out-of-hours work required. Weekend rota is 1 in 5 Saturdays and Sundays, with time off in lieu (TOIL) for weekends worked. Bank holidays are on a rota basis.
