Alma Veterinary Hospital is a fully equipped first-opinion small animal practice in the heart of Windsor, Berkshire. This full-time role offers a sustainable shift pattern between 8 am and 7 pm, with just one night shift per week and one weekend in six. The practice is happy to consider a 4-day working week for the right candidate.
Located in Windsor's historic royal town, you'll enjoy excellent transport links to London Paddington and Waterloo, close proximity to Heathrow Airport, and easy access to the M4 and M25. The town offers vibrant shopping, dining, and café culture all within walking distance. The practice itself is conveniently situated in central Windsor with on-site parking.
You'll be joining a fantastic, close-knit team of 7 veterinary surgeons, 8 registered veterinary nurses, 3 student nurses, and 8 support staff. Many team members have been with Alma for years, creating a welcoming, collaborative family atmosphere where everyone supports one another.

The hospital features four consultation rooms, separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, a dedicated dental suite, and advanced imaging and laboratory facilities. Equipment includes a Karl Storz laparoscopy tower, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, orthopaedic equipment, ECG, and capnography. Alma is the only practice within a 15-mile radius offering laparoscopic surgery, combining advanced minimally invasive care with a community-focused approach.
