About the Role
You'll be joining Beech House Veterinary Centre as their fourth out-of-hours vet, working a structured 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota covering 7:30pm to 8:30am shifts. This part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) suits experienced small animal vets seeking flexible commitment with a supportive, well-resourced team in Warrington, Cheshire.
The practice boasts impressive facilities including three operating theatres (one with DR X-ray for orthopaedic work), a dedicated ultrasound suite, X-ray department, and dental room. Having recently achieved RCVS Hospital status and maintaining gold ISFM standard accreditation for their cattery, you'll be working in a practice that's genuinely invested in clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide out-of-hours emergency and critical care to small animal patients across the 7:30pm–8:30am window
- Work collaboratively with three other experienced OOH vets on the established rota
- Utilise the practice's comprehensive diagnostic and surgical facilities to deliver high-quality care
- Contribute to a hardworking, respectful team culture focused on excellent client service
Requirements
- Qualified veterinary surgeon with demonstrable small animal experience
