This is a full-time permanent position working across Cedar Vets' four Hampshire locations (Alton, Alresford, Bordon, and Four Marks). Set on the edge of the South Downs National Park with excellent train links to London, you will be part of a busy, welcoming reception team in a modern, purpose-built practice environment.
As a Client Care Receptionist, you will be the calm, organised professional who greets worried pet owners, manages a busy waiting room with confidence and kindness, and turns enquiries into booked consultations. You will stay two steps ahead, prioritising what matters most while supporting vets and nurses to keep client flow smooth. The work is varied and emotionally meaningful, but you will never be alone—you will have a genuinely supportive team behind you.
Cedar Vets is an independent small animal practice established over 130 years ago and owned by Charlie and Lara. The practice operates across four locations in Hampshire and has recently expanded with a new Bordon branch opening in March 2025. The team is passionate about clinical excellence, staff wellbeing, and thoughtful patient care, investing continuously in modern facilities and people development.
The practice locations benefit from proximity to the South Downs National Park, the New Forest, and the South Coast, with excellent transport links to London. Alresford was renovated in 2019, and Alton relocated to a larger, purpose-built facility in October 2022 designed to support future growth.
