A full-time or part-time RVN role with support for someone newly qualified or ready for more responsibility. Cedar Vets offers a predictable rota, modern facilities and a clear focus on wellbeing, development and teamwork.
This Registered Veterinary Nurse opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time working, with support available for someone who has just qualified or is looking for more responsibility and challenge. The rota is described as predictable and reoccurring, with overtime taken as TOIL during the week and Saturday hours paid at time and a half, currently around 1 in 6 Saturdays, subject to confirmation.
You will be joining Cedar Vets, where the emphasis is on collaborative working, clinical standards and career development. The practice also highlights regular protected breaks, flexible working and a psychologically safe environment, alongside support for activities such as a Tuesday evening Spin club and a walking group.
Cedar Vets is an independent practice that has been established in the local community for over 130 years and is owned and run by husband and wife Charlie and Lara. The practice operates across Alton, Alresford, Bordon and a small branch surgery in Four Marks, with the new Bordon practice opening in March 2025.
The practice works from modern, purpose-built facilities, including an Alresford site completed in 2019 and a larger Alton site that opened in October 2022. Equipment listed includes dental X-ray, video endoscopes, laparoscopy, CT and multiple multiparameter monitors. Cedar Vets also notes that it is set up as a VNTC and a Surrey Vet School IMR provider.
