No out-of-hours or on-call work. Weekend work on a 3:7 shared rota (pro-rata for part-time). Practice is a Vets Now host, meaning emergency cases are handled by Vets Now, not by this practice's vets.
About the Role
Crossroads Veterinary Centre is a well-established three-site small animal practice serving High Wycombe, Hazlemere and Watlington. You'll join a collaborative team where autonomy meets strong clinical support, spending most of your time across the main High Wycombe site and your nearest branch with occasional cover at all three locations. This full-time role works 40 hours over four days (8–8:30am starts, 6–7pm finishes), with weekends on a fair 3:7 shared rota. The best part? As a Vets Now host practice, there's no out-of-hours or on-call work, genuinely protecting your personal time.
You'll manage a varied first-opinion caseload including dogs, cats, rabbits and small furries, with a slight consult bias. Branch work is sole charge, but you're never isolated—the wider team is always a phone call away. If orthopaedics interests you, there's real scope to develop that specialism and build a focused caseload.
