Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

This part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position is based onsite at MiNightVet Caterham, also described as The Village Hospital. The contract is annualised hours, with 20 hours worked each week, and the role sits within the OOH department.

You will be part of a first opinion small animal hospital team, working alongside vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. The advert highlights a friendly, supportive and collaborative environment, with a focus on ongoing learning and development through CVS.

The work is centred on supporting patients, their recovery and the people who care for them, while helping to maintain a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support patients and contribute to their care as part of the clinical team.
• Monitor patient health and help with recovery and reassurance for clients.
• Help maintain quality within the practice and contribute to good outcomes for patients.
• Work positively with vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists in a collaborative hospital team.
• Use strong written and verbal communication skills when dealing with colleagues, clients and their pets.
• Take part in learning and development opportunities offered by CVS and the practice.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse status.
• A dedicated approach to patient care and client support.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A team-focused approach and willingness to contribute to a supportive workplace.
