A three-site RVN role in Suffolk with no out-of-hours, a 1 in 4 Saturday rota and full-time or part-time hours on offer. You'll also work across a friendly CVS team with strong support for development.
This Registered Veterinary Nurse role covers Fromus, Eagle and Castle Veterinary Centres across Saxmundham, Framlingham and Halesworth in Suffolk. The position is permanent, full-time, and part-time can be discussed, with a 9-hour working day, a start time from 8am, an unpaid 1-hour lunch break and a 1 in 4 Saturday rota from 8am to 2pm.
You will be supporting a collaborative first opinion team, helping with a varied nursing caseload, client advice and guidance, and the mentoring of student nurses. The practices do not provide out-of-hours cover, as this is handled through a nearby CVS night time service.
The role is suited to an RVN who enjoys teamwork, variety and being part of a close-knit group. The practices are described as a welcoming Suffolk base with a strong focus on wellbeing, development and a positive team culture.
The role sits within Fromus, Eagle and Castle Veterinary Centres, a CVS group of three Suffolk practices based in Saxmundham, Framlingham and Halesworth. The group is RCVS-accredited and works across first opinion practice.
The team includes 5 vets, 7 nurses and 5 to 6 receptionists across the three sites. The practices also benefit from visiting specialist expertise, including a heart and orthopaedic specialist, plus a dental certificate holder on site. CVS also highlights a Wellbeing Champion, regular social events and central support teams across HR, recruitment, payroll, IT, finance and procurement.
