About the Role

This Registered Veterinary Nurse position is based at a first opinion small animal 24-hour hospital in Stevenage. The rota is 40 hours across 4 days, with 1 in 6 Saturdays or Sundays on the weekend rota and a share of bank holidays. The practice is also happy to discuss working patterns.

You will be supporting pet wellness, monitoring patients, helping with recovery and providing reassurance to clients. It is a hands-on role within a busy hospital environment where no two days are the same.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
• A dedicated approach to patient care.
• Confidence in written and verbal communication.
• A team focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop through ongoing training.

The role is with Roebuck Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. It is a first opinion small animal 24-hour hospital with a team of vets, nurses, VCAs and receptionists.

Facilities mentioned include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, lap spay equipment, multiparameters and ultrasound. The practice also has a visiting Veterinary Surgeon for orthopaedic procedures.
