OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

This OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse role is based onsite in Canterbury and is set up around 1 in 4 Sunday day shifts. The contract is fixed term, with average hours of 2 to 3 per week.

You will be supporting a first opinion small animal practice and working as part of a wider team that includes vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. The role sits within CVS Veterinary Group’s Canterbury practice, where the focus is on collaborative care and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support patient care during Sunday day shifts on a 1 in 4 rota.
• Contribute to clinical work as part of the wider practice team.
• Help maintain quality of care and the practice environment.
• Communicate confidently with colleagues, clients and pet owners.
• Take part in training and development offered by CVS and the practice.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse status.
• Ability to support an onsite first opinion small animal practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients and their owners.
