A full-time RVN role with a 4 day option and a 1:6 weekend rota, based in a well equipped first opinion small animal practice. CVS also welcomes applications from second year Student Nurses.
This Registered Veterinary Nurse position sits at the heart of a first opinion small animal practice where the focus is on pet wellness, recovery and reassurance for clients. You’ll be part of a varied clinical team with access to ultrasound, digital x ray, multiparameter monitoring and an in house laboratory.
The nursing team works across consultations, theatre, inpatient care and Schedule 3 procedures, with development in areas of interest encouraged and supported. The role is full time at 40 hours per week, with the option to work those hours over 4 days. Part time applications will also be considered, and the weekend rota is 1 in 6, covering Saturday 8am to 1pm.
CVS says it supports learning and progression, so this role is suited to someone who wants hands on clinical variety alongside ongoing development. Applications are welcomed from second year Student Nurses too.
This vacancy is with CVS Veterinary Group, a large veterinary employer offering central support across HR, recruitment, payroll, IT, finance and procurement. The listing also notes an inclusive and equitable workplace, with wellbeing support and operational support available to practices.
