This Surgical RVN role sits at the heart of a multidisciplinary specialist hospital, supporting the smooth running of the orthopaedic and soft tissue departments. You will be closely involved in the patient journey from admission through to discharge, working alongside 6 Specialist Surgeons, 2 Surgical Interns and 2 Surgical Residents.
The caseload is supported by specialist equipment including a 160 slice CT scanner, MRI scanner, C arm fluoroscopy unit, minimal invasive surgical equipment, state of the art theatres and cystoscopy, bronchoscopy and endoscopy. The team says no two days are the same, and there is always someone to learn from and support your career goals.
The role is with CVS Veterinary Group at Lumbry Park in Alton. The practice describes itself as a multidisciplinary specialist hospital and says its surgical nursing team works closely with specialist surgeons, surgical interns and surgical residents.
