Twilight Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

CVS Vets 24/7 Chester is seeking a Twilight Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its full-time team. The role averages 38 hours per week on a rotating pattern of 3 shifts one week and 4 the next, including every other weekend, with twilight shifts built around the hospital rota.

This is a chance to work in a busy ECC and referral environment where your caseload will include emergency work, critical care, inpatient care, triage and anaesthesia. You'll be supported by an experienced Vet, RVN and PCA team, and you'll also gain exposure to specialists in ECC, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, cardiology and other advanced disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Support emergency and critical care cases within a thriving out-of-hours hospital environment.
• Carry out inpatient care, triage, anaesthesia and emergency case management.
• Work alongside an experienced Vet, RVN and PCA team throughout the shift.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary caseload that includes referral and ECC work under one roof.
• Collaborate with specialists across ECC, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, cardiology and other advanced fields.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
• Interest in Emergency and Critical Care.
• Ability to work twilight shifts on a rota including every other weekend.
• Confidence in communication, with strong written and verbal skills.
• A supportive team approach and commitment to ongoing learning.
