You will be joining Alnorthumbria Veterinary Centre as a Veterinary Receptionist, based at Dobbies Garden Centre, Street House Farm, Ponteland, NE20 9BT. This is a permanent full time role for 35 hours per week, with a Monday to Friday rota and a share of Saturday cover on a two week rota.
The hours are split across two weeks. Week one includes Monday 08.30 to 18.30, Tuesday 08.00 to 19.00, Friday 08.00 to 18.30 and Saturday 08.30 to 13.00. Week two includes Monday 08.00 to 18.30, Tuesday 08.00 to 19.00, Thursday 08.00 to 16.00 and Friday 08.00 to 18.30.
This is a client facing role where you will help keep the practice organised, welcoming and calm. You will be handling a mix of communication, admin and reception duties while supporting clients and their pets at what can sometimes be a difficult time.
