About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a practice that’s returning to independent, vet-run ownership in North East London. You’ll be part of an experienced and supportive team of veterinary surgeons, RVNs, and support staff who are genuinely invested in helping you succeed. The practice benefits from fantastic transport links and is welcoming back a loyal and enthusiastic client base.

With a 4-day working week and only light weekend rota duties (no overnight on-call), this role prioritises work-life balance without compromising clinical excellence. You’ll have access to equipment and resources tailored to your needs, and the backing of a wider group of certificate-holding vets with interests spanning soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, exotics, oncology, and beyond—all available for case discussion and clinical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-opinion small animal veterinary care alongside an experienced team of vets and RVNs
• Contribute to the practice’s commitment to high standards of animal welfare and client communication
• Engage in clinical case discussions and peer learning within the wider DNA Vetcare group
• Participate in light weekend rota duties as part of a small shared schedule
• Utilise zero-percent finance plans to support difficult consultations and client care conversations

Requirements

• Registered as a Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS
• Proactive, dedicated approach to clinical practice
• Willingness to engage in clinical progression and continued professional development
