Ready to step into a clinical leadership role without the corporate structure? Join an independent small animal practice where you'll have genuine autonomy, proper support from the owner, and the chance to shape how a growing practice works.
This is a Lead Vet opportunity for an experienced GP surgeon who wants to take the next step into leadership, but in a thoughtful, supportive environment. You'll be the main clinical vet day to day, seeing the majority of consults, building strong client relationships, and running the clinical side of the practice. The role includes a proper transition period with the practice owner involved to help you settle in and build confidence in the leadership aspects. No out-of-hours, no Sundays, daytime-only work in a calm, client-focused practice located in Wandsworth.
You don't need to arrive as a fully formed Lead Vet. What matters is strong clinical judgement, genuine interest in client relationships, comfort with sole charge work when needed, and enthusiasm for helping shape practice culture and protocols. This is a chance to develop as a leader while maintaining excellent work-life balance.
Ecovets is an independent small animal practice in Wandsworth, built on a philosophy of doing things properly and personally. The team is calm, thoughtful and genuinely client-focused. Clients value the practice not just for clinical care, but for the close relationships the team builds with them and their pets, and the willingness to go the extra mile when needed. The practice owner remains clinically involved but with a reduced caseload, providing mentorship and support to help you develop as a leader.
