Join Fellowes Farm Equine Clinic as an out-of-hours equine vet on a permanent basis with a refreshingly predictable week-on, week-off rota. You'll provide first-call out-of-hours support covering approximately 50% of the rota, alongside a second on-call vet who has your back when you need it. The role is primarily ambulatory, with full access to the clinic's excellent facilities when required.
This is a genuine opportunity to balance meaningful clinical work with protected personal time. You'll become part of a wider practice team of experienced colleagues, many holding RCVS certificates, and there's scope to pick up additional locum day cover if you want it. The practice is well-equipped with stabling, knock-down box and surgical suite, clinic room with stocks, digital radiography, ultrasound, and videoscopes. A tech-savvy practice manager oversees efficient administration through bespoke mobile apps covering bookings, on-call rotas, holiday requests, and remote practice management access.
