Join Fellowes Farm Equine Clinic as an out-of-hours equine vet on a permanent basis with a refreshingly predictable week-on, week-off rota. You'll provide first-call out-of-hours support covering approximately 50% of the rota, alongside a second on-call vet who has your back when you need it. The role is primarily ambulatory, with full access to the clinic's excellent facilities when required.
This is a genuine opportunity to balance meaningful clinical work with protected personal time. You'll become part of a wider practice team of experienced colleagues, many holding RCVS certificates, and there's scope to pick up additional locum day cover if you want it. Fellowes Farm Equine Clinic is an independent equine practice providing comprehensive care to a diverse range of equine patients. Out-of-hours work forms an integral part of their service delivery. The practice is well-equipped with stabling, knock-down box and surgical suite, clinic room with stocks, digital radiography, ultrasound, and videoscopes. A tech-savvy practice manager oversees efficient administration through bespoke mobile apps covering bookings, on-call rotas, holiday requests, and remote practice management access.
