Ferguson Veterinary Clinic is continuing to grow, and we're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced nursing team. Whether your interests lie in surgery, inpatient care, diagnostics or nurse consultations, you'll be joining a team that values collaboration, learning and high standards of patient care.

What the role looks like

• Full-time or part-time considered
• Typically 3–4 days per week (30–40 hours, depending on preference)
• Mixed rota between 7:30am and 8:30pm
• 1 in 9 weekends
• No out-of-hours commitments, with a dedicated night nursing team in place
• Varied caseload across first-opinion and referral services
• Opportunities to develop new skills and clinical interests

What you'll be doing

As part of our nursing team, you'll play a key role throughout the patient journey, including:

• Assisting with procedures across orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology and general practice
• Supporting advanced diagnostics, including radiography and CT imaging
• Preparing patients for surgery and assisting in theatre, including scrubbing in
• Providing high-quality inpatient care
• Managing patient admissions and discharges
• Running nurse consultations and clinics
• Working closely with vets, nurses and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care

What we're looking for

We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is enthusiastic, adaptable and keen to continue developing professionally.

Ideally, you'll have 2–3 years' nursing experience, although referral experience is not required. We're happy to provide training and support for the right person who is eager to learn and take advantage of CPD opportunities.
