About the Role

This is a full-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon opportunity at Gatehouse Veterinary Group, part of inspiring vet care, in West Yorkshire. The role offers 40 hours per week over 4 days, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings only, running from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

You’ll be joining a busy, well-established practice with a varied caseload and a strong focus on teamwork, patient care and ongoing clinical development. The team includes vets working towards surgical and ultrasound certificates, as well as a colleague with an ECC qualification, creating an environment where you can build your confidence and expand your interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver high standards of patient and client care.
• Manage a varied small animal caseload across first opinion practice.
• Continue developing your clinical skills and interests while sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Contribute positively to the clinical culture and support the development of those around you.

Requirements

• A veterinary degree and RCVS registration, or eligibility to register.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Gatehouse Veterinary Group is a busy, well-established practice in West Yorkshire and part of inspiring vet care.
