About the Role

This part-time Veterinary Surgeon position is based at the Chalfont St Peter practice in Buckinghamshire, with the chance to take on a first opinion GP role in a peaceful village setting. The average 20.12-hour week includes a 1 in 3 branch Saturday morning rota and a 1 in 8 hospital Sunday rotation, plus one bank holiday per year at Mandeville Hospital.

The working pattern has some flexibility, so there may be scope for a shorter Monday and full Wednesday, or a full Wednesday and shorter Friday. You will be working alongside another experienced vet on both days, so this is not a sole charge position during the week.

Chalfont St Peter has 3 consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, ultrasound facilities, a large branch setup, a garden and decked outdoor area, and bonded, largely insured clients. If you want to be close to London without the pace of city life, the location offers rural charm with easy access to the capital.
