This is a full-time permanent position with Highcliff Vets, a long-established small animal practice serving south Suffolk and the Essex-border area for over 100 years. You'll work across two sites (Hadleigh and Brantham) as part of a collaborative 12-vet team, delivering high-quality medical and surgical care to a varied caseload. With a manageable 1:3 Saturday morning rota and no out-of-hours commitments (Vets Now host practice), you'll enjoy genuine work-life balance while developing your clinical interests in a supportive environment.

The practice is Gold ISFM-accredited at Brantham and Silver ISFM-accredited at Hadleigh. You'll also benefit from RCVS Accreditation as a Small Animal General Practice, a Dog Friendly Award, and active involvement in the local community, including partnerships with the Greyhound Trust and local cat rescue charities.
Highcliff Veterinary Practice is a long-established independent practice with roots dating back to the nineteenth century. Operating across Hadleigh and Brantham in Suffolk, it has earned Gold and Silver ISFM accreditation, RCVS Small Animal General Practice status, and a Dog Friendly Award. The practice features two theatres, imaging suite, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, video endoscopy, therapeutic laser, orthopaedic and ophthalmology equipment, plus separate cat and dog wards with dedicated isolation facilities.
The team comprises 12 veterinary surgeons (including newly qualified and experienced colleagues with 20+ years' tenure), 16 RVNs with certificate holders in Imaging and Surgery, and colleagues working towards advanced qualifications in Small Animal Medicine. Highcliff is committed to community involvement, supporting the Greyhound Trust, local cat rescues, and participating in the BVA campaigns and STEM ambassador programmes.
