About the Practice

Hunts Veterinary Clinic was established in 1966 and has evolved into a highly respected, RCVS-accredited small animal practice. Operating three branches—Poynton (main site), Woodley, and Cheadle Hulme—the practice transitioned from mixed practice in 1997 to focus exclusively on companion animal care. Each location is fully equipped to a high standard, ensuring consistent, quality care across all sites.

The team comprises 7 vets, 5 RVNs, a VCA, 2 receptionists, a Practice Manager, and 3 support staff. The practice culture is built on collaboration, camaraderie, and genuine support—professionally and personally. Staff testimonials consistently highlight the manageable workload, variety of cases, and the genuine enjoyment of working in this environment.
