This is an opportunity to step into Emergency and Critical Care through Cutting Edge, an 8-week training programme designed to build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed for ECC work. You will receive 250 hours of CPD delivered by recognised ECC specialists, alongside interactive seminars, practical sessions and personalised clinical mentorship.
After training, you will join an ECC clinic of your choice on a full-time, permanent basis. The rota is designed with work-life balance in mind, offering 30 to 40 hours per week, an average of three shifts per week and no more than three nights in a row. Training takes place at the Central Support hub in Scotland, with accommodation provided.
The role is advertised by Inspiring Vet Care and is linked to Vets Now, described in the listing as the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care. The programme is being offered across a wide network of ECC clinics in the UK, with one Cutting Edge veterinarian per clinic.
The listing says each clinic can accommodate only one Cutting Edge veterinarian, and applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The next intake is 1 March 2027.
