Move into Emergency and Critical Care through an 8 week, fully supported training programme with 250 hours of CPD and structured clinical mentorship. After training, you'll join a permanent ECC role with a rota designed around work life balance.
ECC role includes night work. The rota has no more than three nights in a row and an average of three shifts per week.
This Veterinary Surgeon position is built around the Cutting Edge ECC programme, an 8 week training route designed to prepare you for emergency and critical care work. It includes 250 hours of CPD, interactive seminars, practical sessions, personalised clinical mentorship and hands on experience in your chosen clinic.
After the training period, you'll join an ECC clinic of your choice on a full time, permanent basis. The rota is set at 30 to 40 hours per week, with no more than three nights in a row and an average of three shifts per week.
The role sits within a UK emergency and critical care network under the Vets Now brand. The Cutting Edge programme is described as a route into ECC supported by experienced senior clinicians and recognised ECC specialists.
Opportunities are available across multiple clinics in the UK, including Swansea, and each clinic can accommodate only one Cutting Edge veterinarian. Applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis.
