About the Role
This full-time permanent Receptionist role at Inshes Vets is focused on delivering a calm, professional and compassionate first impression for clients and their pets. You’ll be part of a supportive team where client care, patient care and collaboration are at the centre of day-to-day work.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday, with shifts of 08:00 to 17:00, 09:00 to 18:00 and 10:30 to 19:30, plus one in five Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00. The role also includes helping the practice run smoothly by keeping appointments, enquiries and client communication organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and their pets in a warm, professional and empathetic way
- Handling incoming calls, emails and appointment bookings
- Providing clear customer service and resolving client enquiries professionally
- Keeping client records, patient histories and financial information accurate
- Promoting Pet Health Club membership
- Working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support a positive client and patient journey
Requirements
- Friendly, organised and customer-focused approach
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming manner
