About the Role

Well House Veterinary Clinic is seeking a friendly and professional Veterinary Surgeon to join its established small animal team. Based in Crowborough with a sister clinic in Tunbridge Wells, both practices sit near mainline train stations with easy access to London and Gatwick, set against the backdrop of Ashdown Forest. This full-time permanent role offers the chance to work in a close, collegiate environment where knowledge-sharing and best practice are paramount.

You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, a dedicated dental suite, Idexx lab machines, multiparameter monitoring, and ultrasound. The clinic features separate dog and cat waiting areas and wards, reflecting its ISFM Silver Accredited cat-friendly status. You'll be comfortable with an element of sole charge work and enjoy involvement in both routine consultations and surgical cases.

• Deliver high-quality patient and client care in small animal medicine and surgery
• Perform routine medical and surgical procedures with growing confidence
• Work independently and collaboratively within the close team at either clinic location

Requirements

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility to register)
• Clinical experience working in small animal practice with developing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
• Surgical experience and comfort with some element of sole charge responsibility
• Strong communication skills and professional, reliable approach
• Proactive attitude to learning and openness to feedback and development
