If surgery is your passion, the caseload can be tailored to focus heavily on surgery, allowing you to practise in the way that suits you best.

Based in Woking, a fantastic location with easy access to the Surrey Hills, RHS Garden Wisley, and numerous cultural attractions, you're also just 30 minutes by train from London Waterloo and under an hour from the south coast. Working full-time on a four-day week with one Saturday per month (8am to 2pm), this role balances professional reward with genuine work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload
• Collaborate with the wider clinical team to maintain excellent standards across the two-site practice
• Continue to develop your own clinical skills and interests while sharing knowledge with colleagues
• Support the ongoing development of team members and contribute positively to the practice culture
• Work across the main Woking hospital and sister branch in Chertsey as needed

Requirements

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility to register)
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
• Proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care

About the Practice

Kingswood Vets is part of inspiring vet care, the UK's number one vet care provider, trusted with the care of over 2 million animals. The practice moved into a purpose-built hospital in 2018 with excellent facilities including four consultation rooms, two theatres, dental suites, imaging suites, and separate dog and cat wards.

The two-site practice serves a great mix of well-insured clients alongside rewarding charity work with the RSPCA and other organisations. The Woking surgery operates weekdays 9am to 6.30pm and Saturday 9am to 12.30pm, with a 24-hour, seven-day emergency service. Veterinary and nurse consultations are held daily, surgical procedures are booked every weekday, and acupuncture is offered three days a week. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome.
