Bath Veterinary Referrals is seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Clinician to join their well-established multidisciplinary referral centre. This flexible position offers 3 to 4 days per week (28.5 to 38 hours per week) with participation in an on-call rota, allowing you to balance complex caseload with manageable working patterns.
You'll investigate and manage a diverse range of internal medicine cases, from feline and canine presentations to oncological and neurological conditions. The team actively participates in diagnostic imaging of their own cases and works closely with surgical colleagues across orthopaedics, neurology, spinal surgery, cardiology, and ophthalmology. You'll also mentor an incoming Advanced Practitioner trainee, supporting their development and clinical supervision.
Bath Veterinary Referrals is housed within Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital in Bath's World Heritage City. The practice is a well-established multidisciplinary referral centre offering expertise across small animal medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, neurology, spinal surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, and rehabilitation. The Internal Medicine team comprises experienced Advanced Practitioners, supported by a dedicated team of referral nurses and a separate, modern, ICC-accredited cattery designed to minimise stress for feline patients.
