This is a fixed-term opportunity to join one of the UK's leading small animal referral hospitals as an Internal Medicine clinician. Based at Pride Veterinary Referral Centre in Derby, you'll work four days per week (typically 8:30am to 6pm) alongside an experienced team of three Diplomates, four residents, and two interns. The 18-month contract offers the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Pride is part of the Scarsdale Veterinary Group, serving the East Midlands across 10 sites with over 300 staff. The hospital operates 24/7 with a dedicated night team, providing comprehensive specialist services including anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, neurology, oncology, and ophthalmology. You'll have access to five operating theatres, full imaging capabilities (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound), and an on-site laboratory. The practice collaborates closely with the University of Nottingham, hosting final-year veterinary students.
