You'll join Moorview Referrals, a highly experienced multidisciplinary referral hospital serving patients across the North East. This full-time position spans 40 hours across four days per week, giving you a regular day off each week to support work-life balance. The role includes a 1:5 weekend surgical rota, with time off in lieu provided after weekend commitments.
As a Referral Veterinary Surgeon, you'll manage a varied and complex surgical caseload within a busy referral setting. The surgical department comprises six Advanced Practitioner surgeons supported by a dedicated team of surgical nurses, several holding certificate and diploma qualifications. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Emergency and Critical Care, plus an ultrasonographer, radiographer, and residency-trained cardiologist.
