This is a full-time specialist nursing position within a dedicated dental and oral surgical referral practice. You'll deliver advanced nursing care across a range of complex procedures, from blood sampling and anaesthesia to dental radiography, charting, scaling and polishing, CBCT operation, and direct surgical assistance. Based in Haddington, East Lothian, just a short drive from the coast and within easy reach of Edinburgh, you'll work with patients travelling from across Scotland and the north of England.
The role offers excellent work-life balance with no weekends, on-call, or out-of-hours shifts. You'll work 40 hours per week over 5 days, allowing you to genuinely disconnect outside work hours. DentalVets is a dedicated dental and oral surgical referral practice, established nearly 30 years ago. The practice provides specialist services for companion animals and zoo species, featuring a purpose-built clinic in Haddington with three fully equipped operating bays, each with heated dental table, dental X-ray machine, processor, and patient monitoring equipment. There is also a dedicated sterile theatre for plating cases. The growing team includes four vets, one anaesthetist, four RVNs, and three support staff.
