Lawrence Veterinary Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly, first opinion practice on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, working a straightforward 40-hour week with no out-of-hours responsibilities.
You'll be part of a dedicated clinical team of 10 veterinary surgeons (including certificate holders in cardiology and feline medicine), 11 registered veterinary nurses, 1 VCA, and support colleagues. The practice is known for its close-knit culture, with many team members staying for over 10 years. Your working pattern includes standard shifts between 7:45am and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday morning per month (8:30am to 1:00pm) with no overnight cover required.
The practice is well-equipped with dental and digital x-ray, ultrasound, and Idexx laboratory equipment, supporting a varied first opinion caseload of dogs, cats, and small pets.
