This is an exciting opportunity to join Swift Referrals' growing surgical team as a Referral Veterinary Surgeon. You'll manage a varied and complex caseload across soft tissue, neurology, and orthopaedic surgery alongside experienced surgeons, internal medicine clinicians, and an ECC specialist. The role suits residency-trained or board-certified surgeons, though experienced Certificate holders with significant referral experience will also be considered.
Working across a multidisciplinary environment, you'll deliver advanced surgical procedures and exceptional patient care whilst contributing to the continued development of the surgical referral service. A 4-day working week (10-hour shifts, 8am to 6pm) offers genuine work-life balance. On-call participation involves a 1 in 3 weekend rota with minimal evening on-call, primarily telephone support to the dedicated out-of-hours team for inpatient queries rather than routine on-site attendance.
