No out-of-hours or on-call shifts. Saturday rotas 1 in 3 (day shifts only: 8am to 6pm or 8.30am to 2.30pm), some including sole charge.
This full-time position offers 42 hours across four days, with Saturday rotas (1 in 3) but no overnight on-call or OOH shifts, allowing you to maintain excellent work-life balance. You'll work primarily from the main Barnet hospital, though time can be split with the Rosemary Avenue practice site if preferred.
You'll encounter a genuinely diverse caseload spanning cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries and occasional wildlife. Surgical work ranges from routine procedures to laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedics, thoracic surgery, BOAS management and dentistry. With in-house radiography, dental X-ray, ultrasound, rigid and flexible endoscopy, laparoscopy, electrosurgery, stapling systems, orthopaedic kits, ventilators and advanced monitoring, you'll have the tools to manage complex cases confidently.
