This is your opportunity to join Wards Veterinary Centre in the heart of Elgin, a thriving small animal practice delivering exceptional patient care to dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets across Moray and beyond. The practice operates daytime hours only (8:30am to 5:30pm for consultations, 8:00am to 5:00pm for theatre work), with one late shift per week on average, making this genuinely balanced. Occasional out-of-hours cover in Inverness may be required, though usually handled by their own staff.
You'll be part of a 6-vet team where consulting and operating responsibilities are deliberately split to maintain a sustainable workload. The practice is Gold Standard Cat Friendly accredited and proud of its modern facilities and high clinical standards. This is a full-time role, though part-time arrangements can be discussed with the right candidate.

Wards Veterinary Centre is located in Elgin, Moray, and operates as a single-site, training practice within the IVC Evidensia group. The team comprises 6 veterinary surgeons, 7 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and 3 support staff, led by a Practice Manager. The practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities including ultrasound, ECG, digital x-ray, endoscope, IDEXX in-house laboratory, and a spacious operating theatre with dedicated prep room.
