An exciting opportunity awaits a small animal veterinary surgeon at Links Veterinary Group in East Lothian, a busy and progressive practice with an excellent reputation for high-quality patient care. You'll work cases through from start to finish within a supportive, collaborative team that values clinical discussion and continuous improvement. With a 1 in 10 weekend out-of-hours rota (working 7:45am to 8:15pm as sole charge), this full-time role operates on 42.5 hours per week with flexible start times between 7:30am and 12:00pm, Monday to Friday, plus generous time off in lieu.
Located in stunning East Lothian, just 20 minutes from Edinburgh, you'll enjoy beautiful beaches, coastal walks and countryside on your doorstep while maintaining city convenience. An interest in emergency and critical care would be highly advantageous, given the practice's established out-of-hours service.
