You'll work as a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon at Mansion Hill Vets, a well-equipped practice serving Middleton Cheney, Banbury and Brackley in Oxfordshire. This is a full-time or part-time permanent position with hours typically spread across four days, so you can maintain genuine work-life balance. The role includes a 1:3 Saturday morning rota (8:30am to 12:30pm) and no out-of-hours requirements, meaning your evenings and extra days are yours to enjoy.
You'll manage a varied and rewarding caseload alongside three Registered Veterinary Nurses, a VCA, and a supportive practice manager. Routine procedures such as spays, castrates, lump removals, and dentals form a core part of your week, alongside consultations and occasional emergency cases that keep things interesting. You'll work with dogs, cats, rabbits, and small furries in a practice that values both clinical excellence and community involvement, with strong links to Blue Cross, Cats Protection, and the RSPCA.
Please note that this role requires you to cover sole charge duties for at least three of your working days.
