Join an independent large animal practice where clinical freedom, in-house equipment and a 1 in 4 out of hours rota are already part of the role. This is an ambulatory equine position with occasional clinic days and scope to help develop future clinic work.
Own out of hours cover on a 1 in 4 rota, with a back up vet always available if required.
MBG Farm and Equine Vets is seeking an experienced ambulatory equine vet to join an established team of experienced and enthusiastic equine vets. The role is based around mostly ambulatory work, with occasional clinic days, and there is also the chance to get involved in racecourse work if that interests you.
You will be joining a progressive and supportive independent practice with a strong focus on clinical excellence, quality patient care and excellent client service. Vets are given clinical freedom and encouraged to develop their own areas of interest. The caseload is mainly pleasure horses, with some professional competition and racing yards.

The practice is currently 99% ambulatory, with occasional clinic days, and is looking to develop its clinic work in the longer term. Current facilities include an in-house laboratory, gastroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography and laser surgery.
