About the Role

This is a partnership opportunity at Medivet Quarrington, a well-established small animal practice in Lincolnshire. You’ll take ownership of a thriving clinic with an excellent client base and experienced team, leading day-to-day operations whilst being part of a supportive regional network of fellow partners. Unlike traditional practice ownership, you’ll have clinical backup, out-of-hours support from the local emergency hub, and mentorship always nearby—giving you the autonomy to shape the practice your way, with the safety net of a wider team behind you.

Medivet Quarrington is a purpose-built practice with five consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, and modern operating theatres equipped with ECG, orthopaedic equipment, digital and dental x-ray, and ultrasound. The practice sees a busy and varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and vets, offering scope for clinical leadership and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the clinic day-to-day, managing case planning and peri-operative care
• Develop and mentor the existing veterinary and nursing team
• Build equity in your clinic whilst delivering outstanding small animal care
• Drive the practice’s clinical development, particularly in advanced surgical techniques
• Develop strong relationships with clients and build continuity of care
• Collaborate with the regional network of partners, sharing cases, skills and expertise

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with proven clinical expertise
• CertAVP in Small Animal Surgery (or working towards one)
• Ambition and leadership drive—you want to own and grow your own clinic
• Confidence in leading and mentoring a team
• Passion for high-quality care and community impact
• No prior business ownership experience required—just bring your clinical skills and desire to build something meaningful
