About the Role

This RVN opportunity covers both the Lewisham and Greenwich practices, giving you a varied mix of nurse consult work and a rewarding clinical caseload. If you are looking for a role that balances client-facing work with hands-on nursing, this could be a strong fit.

Full-time and part-time applications are welcome, and full-time can be worked over 4 days per week. The rota includes a 1 in 6 weekend commitment at the Beckenham hospital, plus a fair share of bank holidays and on-call.

You will be joining experienced Branch Partners Antonio and Rok, alongside welcoming teams at both clinics. Certificate holders in dentistry and diagnostic imaging are also part of the wider team, creating good opportunities to learn and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nurse consults and support the Greenwich and Lewisham practices across the rota.
• Support surgeries and procedures, including pre and post procedure activity.
• Carry out patient monitoring and care.
• Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
• Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
• Dispense and check medication.
• Hold briefings to help coordinate the team and support the smooth running of the practice.
• Work to professional, regulatory, practice and operational standards.

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience delivering excellent patient and client care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience supporting nurse consults.
• Coaching and influencing skills.
• Open to newly qualified and experienced RVNs.
