You'll be joining Medivet Billinge, a friendly small animal practice in Wigan, on a fixed-term maternity cover contract lasting 12 months. This is a full-time position within a close-knit team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse, and 1 Client Care Assistant, where teamwork and collaboration sit at the heart of everything the practice does. As part of a small team, every colleague plays an important role, and you'll have the opportunity to build strong working relationships while making a real difference to patient and client care.
This varied nursing role covers all aspects of clinical practice: inpatient care, nurse-led consultations, anaesthesia monitoring, and supporting vets during procedures. You'll help deliver high-quality patient care whilst building lasting relationships with the practice's loyal client base, making communication and client care a key part of your day.
