Veterinary Care Assistant

About the Role

This full-time Veterinary Care Assistant role is based at Medivet Leigh-on-Sea and includes participation in a 1:4 weekend rota, along with on-call and bank holiday rotas at Medivet Southend 24-Hour Hospital. The position offers exposure to a broader range of clinical settings and the opportunity to work alongside colleagues across the wider veterinary team.

You will be joining a friendly practice team made up of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 5 Client Care Assistants. The practice places clear value on teamwork, patient care and creating a welcoming experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support surgeries and procedures while delivering care to clients in line with regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Provide patient monitoring and care for pets, including walking, toileting and feeding
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team

Requirements
