Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

This part-time Veterinary Surgeon position offers 2 days per week, plus Saturday working on a rota basis. It is a small animal first-opinion role with a varied and interesting caseload, giving you the chance to keep developing your clinical interests while working in a supportive setting.

You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team, with excellent support from experienced veterinary nurses and support staff. The role is suited to a vet who is confident working independently, while also valuing strong teamwork and good patient and client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care in a small animal first-opinion practice.
• Work 2 days per week, with Saturday cover on a rota basis.
• Manage a varied and interesting caseload.
• Work independently when needed while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Deliver excellent patient and client care.
• Develop clinical interests and continue building clinical skills.

Requirements

• RCVS registered.
• Experienced in small animal practice.
• Confident working independently.
