This Veterinary Surgeon position is based primarily at Medivet Cheshunt, where you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality patient care, clinical standards and client service. The role includes sole-charge days to support cover during annual leave or sickness absence.
You’ll work within a collaborative team that includes two Branch Partners at Cheshunt and one Branch Partner covering Waltham Abbey and Cuffley. The caseload blends routine and more complex work, with access to digital x-ray, dental x-ray, modern ultrasound, in-house biochemistry and haematology analysers, plus Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure monitoring.
The working pattern is 4 days a week, and the role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. It also includes a 1 in 6 weekend rotation at Medivet’s Enfield 24-Hour Hospital, an average of 2 to 3 weeks of on-call duties per year, and approximately 3 Bank Holidays per year.
