About the Role

Medivet Weymouth is a well-established and respected veterinary practice positioned on the picturesque Dorset coast, offering easy access to sandy beaches, coastal walks and outdoor activities—the kind of setting that naturally supports proper work-life balance. You’ll join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of experienced vets, registered nurses, student nurses and client care staff who genuinely empower each other to deliver exceptional patient and client care.

In this role, you’ll be accountable for delivering high-standard clinical care within the practice whilst working within a supportive environment where your clinical expertise and client-focussed approach are valued. This is a full-time permanent position where you’ll develop meaningful relationships with clients and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and surgical procedures, maintaining the highest regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Develop and agree tailored treatment plans with clients, ensuring clear communication and shared decision-making
  • Work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture
  • Share your clinical skills and support professional development across the wider Medivet communities
  • Maintain full compliance with RCVS regulations and practice protocols

Requirements

  • MRCVS registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
  • Passion for clinical excellence and high-standard patient care
  • Team player mentality with strong communication skills
  • Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
