This four-day working week with a guaranteed day off each week and one in eight Saturday mornings means you'll actually have a life outside the clinic. Consultations are a sensible 15 minutes by default, with protected admin time built into the day so you're not drowning in overtime. Out-of-hours cover is handled by Vets Now at their main Clayton Le Dale hospital site, so patients stay put and inpatient care runs smoothly.
Myerscough Veterinary Group, part of inspiring vet care, operates 11 companion animal surgeries across Lancashire including branches in Clitheroe, Padiham, Oswaldtwistle, Great Harwood, Haslingden, Bacup, Clayton Le Dale, Lostock Hall (Preston), Brierfield, St Annes, Lytham, Freckleton, Ashton on Ribble, and Preston (co-located with RSPCA), plus Regent Veterinary Practice in Ilkley. The main Clayton Le Dale hospital holds Tier 3 Hospital status and operates extended hours: 8am to 8pm weekdays with vet consultations until 7:30pm, plus Sunday and bank holiday sessions. Ten branches offer Saturday consultations.
