About the Role

This is a Farm Veterinary Surgeon opportunity with Nantwich Farm Vets, working across Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and parts of Derbyshire and North Wales. The role sits within one of the UK’s largest independent, farm-only practices and covers progressive dairy, beef and sheep clients.

You’ll be part of a team of 21 farm vets and 8 Veterinary Technicians/ATTs, with excellent clinical, technical and administrative support. The caseload has a strong focus on proactive dairy herd health, fertility and data-led decision making, alongside a well-supported on-call rota. There is also genuine scope to shape the role around your interests and progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with progressive dairy, beef and sheep clients across Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, and parts of Derbyshire and North Wales.
• Contribute to a varied farm caseload with a strong emphasis on dairy herd health, fertility and data-led decision making.
• Take part in the on-call rota with support from the wider team.
• Work closely with clinical, technical and administrative colleagues in a single-site, farm-only practice.

About the Practice

Nantwich Farm Vets is a farm-only independent practice with an expanding client base. The practice works with progressive dairy, beef and sheep clients across the North West and North Wales.

The team includes 21 farm vets and 8 Veterinary Technicians/ATTs, supported by clinical, technical and administrative colleagues. The role is based at a single site and forms part of the XLVets community.
