A refurbished purpose-built clinic in New Malden is offering a full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeon role with no OOH and occasional sole charge. The practice combines a supportive team, strong clinical kit and scope to develop individual interests.
This New Malden practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, established team in a purpose-built clinic that was refurbished in December 2024. The role can be full-time or part-time, and includes 1:5 weekends with Sunday as sole charge.
You will be joining a collaborative team made up of 5 other vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 Practice Manager who is also an RVN, 4 Veterinary Care Assistants and a dedicated reception team. The practice is open to supporting individual interests and additional certificates, and one vet already holds a certificate in exotic animal medicine.
The practice is based in Southwest London, close to the A3, inside a busy Pets at Home store with free onsite parking. It is near Wimbledon and about a 10-minute walk from Raynes Park train station, with direct trains into central London in under half an hour.
Facilities include a dedicated dental suite with dental x-ray, a separate diagnostic suite with x-ray and ultrasound, a rigid endoscope, two operating theatres, and dedicated feline, canine, exotic and isolation wards. The practice is ISFM cat friendly silver tier and is working towards dog friendly and PSS certification.
