New Priory Vets Brighton
Apply before: Jun 11, 2026
Dedicated ECC night role with split shifts: 4:30 pm–12:30 am or 10:30 pm–9:30 am. 20 hours per week across the 9-month contract.
Join New Priory Vets’ Emergency & Critical Care team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for this 9-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a refreshingly sustainable approach to ECC work: you’ll work split shifts—either 4:30 pm to 12:30 am or 10:30 pm to 9:30 am—meaning you can pursue your passion for emergency medicine without the burnout that often comes with traditional overnight rotations.
Brighton offers the perfect blend of vibrant city living with easy access to the South Downs National Park, London, and international airports. You’ll be joining an RCVS-accredited Hospital Standard practice with a thriving first-opinion, out-of-hours, and referral service—meaning diverse, interesting cases across the week.
New Priory Veterinary Practice was established almost 40 years ago and operates two sites: a Hospital Standard-accredited facility in Brighton (just off the A23) and a clinic in Peacehaven on the coast. The practice is part of IVC Evidensia and has achieved the highest level of RCVS accreditation available to UK veterinary practices.
The team includes on-site specialists and Advanced Practitioners with certificates in cardiorespiratory medicine, imaging, endoscopy, surgery, dentistry, and emergency & critical care. Supported by experienced RVNs, nurses, SVNs, receptionists, and approachable management, the practice prioritises excellent governance and genuine care for client relationships. State-of-the-art facilities include a recently upgraded CT scanner, dedicated cardiac ultrasound suite, and comprehensive in-house diagnostics.
